Invesco PowerShares listed five new ETFs today on Nasdaq.
The PowerShares Global Biotech Portfolio (PBTQ) tracks an index of 50 global biotech companies. Leading components as of June 30, 2008 were Amgen (AMGN), Gilead Sciences (GILD), Genentech(DNA), and Celgene Corp (CELG).
The firm also listed four commodity-producer ETFs:
• PowerShares Global Agriculture Portfolio (PAGG)
• PowerShares Global Coal Portfolio (PKOL)
• PowerShares Global Gold and Precious Metals Portfolio (PSAU)
• PowerShares Global Steel Portfolio (PSTL)
