WisdomTree launched an actively managed ETF holding U.S. money market securities today on the NYSA Arca under ticker symbol USY.
USY will seek to earn current income while preserving capital and maintaining liquidity by investing primarily in very short term, high-quality money market instruments denominated in U.S. dollars.
Although USY invests in very short-term, investment grade instruments, the fund is not a “money market” fund and it is not the objective of the fund to maintain a constant share price.
USY’s expense ratio is 0.25%.
